Antique Marigold Carnival Glass Two Sides Up Plate

Pattern: Grape & Cable

~Fenton Glass Company~

ca early 1900s

______

ONLY ONE KNOWN IN ANY COLOR & THIS IS IT!!

Do you like rare pieces!? Here is one for you! There are NONE of these reported... not in ANY color!!  This one is gorgeous and will display very well in your collection but know right now that there is a heatcheck that is seen when held to the light that runs from the base out a couple of inches.  It doesn't penetrate the surface of course and there is no doubt in my mind that this occurred during manufacture ... and who knows, maybe this is why they didn't make many or any more of these!

Iridescence is COLORFUL and BOLD as you can see!! I would actually say this is pretty close to PUMPKIN ... great PINKS, YELLOWS, AQUAS!! It's just DANDY!

Super great height on the pattern so it's a nice mould strike!

The heatcheck... it's got that brownish tinge when held to the light and is angular can be seen in the photos of the front of the piece, but it can't be felt.

*Remember, no 2 pieces of carnival EVER look the same... if you like what you see here, then this is the one for you to buy.*

 ~NO CHIPS~

I use no artificial lighting, all is natural light from outdoors... this means I do not take a lamp outside with me to make my glass look shiny... inside when you open these items they will have a better shine because of your indoor lighting.  I also don't use any "super sheen" products or anything on the glass other than mild detergent/soap to wash the dirt off with.
