Amethyst Contemporary Carnival Glass Chop Plate
Pattern: Monument Valley
~Imperial Glass~
ca 1975
______
HAVE YOU BEEN THERE!!
Mount Vernon is IMPRESSIVE and if you've been there in person or even seen it in photos, you'll know what I mean! This plate was made by Imperial's combined entity with Arthur Lorch in 1975 and is a SUPER reminder of some of the great architecture the United States has to offer!!
Iridescence is BOLD and BRIGHTER THAN ANYTHING!! Very very pretty!! Marked ALIG. Heavy enough to be able to handle the kind of plate holders that can hang a plate on the wall and not get nicked up like early carnival would! Marked IG. Imperial did make other monument plates and I have quite a few but just don't have them all photographed yet... if you are interested in others (Mt. Rushmore, etc... let me know!) FREE SHIPPING! No damage! I use no artificial lighting, all is natural light from outdoors... this means I do not take a lamp outside with me to make my glass look shiny... inside when you open these items they will have a better shine because of your indoor lighting. I also don't use any "super sheen" products or anything on the glass other than mild detergent/soap to wash the dirt off with. SUPER CONTEMPORARY CARNIVAL GLASS!! ~NO CHIPS or CRACKS~ *Remember, no 2 pieces of carnival glass EVER look the same... if you like what you see here, then this is the one for you to buy.* Approximate Dimensions 1 inch tall 10 1/4 inches diameter
