Antique Green Carnival Glass Whimsey Vase
Pattern: Columbia
~Imperial Glass Company~
ca early 1900s
______
EXCITING WHIMSEY!!
Here is a wonderful piece of early carnival glass... unsigned, early Imperial Glass! The pattern is CLASSY and called "Columbia". This typically comes in other shapes... a compote or a plate but HERE it's been WHIMSIED into a FABULOUS vase!!
Everything about the shape of this vase is GORGEOUS!! The iridescence is typical of Imperial's Green ... SHINY SHINY SHINY with LOTS of GOLD so you can appreciate the lovely green glass underneath with little or no interference! Note there ARE some OTHER colors visible on some of the panels on the sides!
Check out the neat way the top is ruffled! Really quite a dignified vase!
I use no artificial lighting, all is natural light from outdoors... this means I do not take a lamp outside with me to make my glass look shiny... inside when you open these items they will have a better shine because of your indoor lighting. I also don't use any "super sheen" products or anything on the glass other than mild detergent/soap to wash the dirt off with.
SUPER ANTIQUE IMPERIAL CARNIVAL GLASS!!
~NO CHIPS or CRACKS~
*Remember, no 2 pieces of carnival EVER look the same... if you like what you see here, then this is the one for you to buy.*
