This is a GORGEOUS ruffled bowl in the Flowers & Frames pattern by DUGAN GLASS! Glass color is SUPER DARK amethyst but perhaps not quite "black". Very close though! The iridescence is ELECTRIC with SUPERIOR ROYAL BLUE, YELLOW and PURPLES... some GREAT AQUA and TEAL too!I challenge you to find one better!! Seriously, I'm a Dugan collector and this is one of the very best I've ever seen! I use no artificial lighting, all is natural light from outdoors... this means I do not take a lamp outside with me to make my glass look shiny... inside when you open these items they will have a better shine because of your indoor lighting. I also don't use any "super sheen" products or anything on the glass other than mild detergent/soap to wash the dirt off with.
