Antique Powder Blue Carnival Glass Collar Based Bowl
Pattern: Chrysanthemum
~Fenton Glass Company~
ca early 1900s
______
NONE PREVIOUSLY REPORTED!!
This is a rare collar based bowl in POWDER BLUE glass color! The pattern is CHRYSANTHEMUM and it's a SUPER pattern that Fenton made back in the early carnival days, featuring windmills, sailboats and other great things!! This is a COLLAR based bowl (not footed) and SO PRETTY!
The color is without a doubt "powder blue" and my research indicates there is no other reported as known. Quite a nice piece to have in one's collection!!!
The iridescence has some FABULOUS coloring YELLOW, SUNSET, AQUA, PURPLE... you name it!! It's just so artistically iridized!! The water is BLUE and AQUA!!
A FABULOUS FIND!!
I use no artificial lighting, all is natural light from outdoors... this means I do not take a lamp outside with me to make my glass look shiny... inside when you open these items they will have a better shine because of your indoor lighting. I also don't use any "super sheen" products or anything on the glass other than mild detergent/soap to wash the dirt off with.
SUPER RARE CARNIVAL GLASS!! ~NO CHIPS or CRACKS~ *Remember, no 2 pieces of carnival EVER look the same... if you like what you see here, then this is the one for you to buy.* Approximate Dimensions 2 1/4 inches tall 9 inches diameter
