Pair of Antique English Art Glass Vases

~Stuart & Sons~

early 1900s

This is a lovely set of vases!! You will note they are zipper cut vertically and have a wonderful green glass medallion applied with a sunburst cut!  Both have silver tops which are hallmarked HP&S etc.  I am unsure of the silversmiths... but I was told that the vases were made by Stuart & Sons who were affliated with Thomas Webb from time to time.

The vases are beautiful and the photos don't do them justice but some small things to mention... a few nicks on the square feet which are vulnerable, and dents on the silver which I seem to see more often than not.

I will say that I've never seen a pair like this before!!

I use no artificial lighting, all is natural light from outdoors... this means I do not take a lamp outside with me to make my glass look shiny... inside when you open these items they will have a better shine because of your indoor lighting.  I also don't use any "super sheen" products or anything on the glass other than mild detergent/soap to wash the dirt off with.
